Protect the team from overcommitting and scope creep
When you work within the OKR framework, everything is a stretch goal. In situations like this, it’s easy to want to overcommit so that you can hit 100% of the goal (when in reality, 70% is the goal). That’s why it’s important for us to ensure that the team isn’t overcommitting to work, that we tackle scope creep problems as they come up, and that we prevent burnout on the team.
Run scrum meetings effectively
Your role as a Scrum Master is to facilitate scrum to the larger team and ensure that the frameworks are being followed. In line with following scrum, it’s important that you ensure that the time the team meets is an effective use of everyone’s time.
